The Ministry of Education, Youth and Science starts the operation BG051PO001/3.3-05 “Science and Business”, within the Operational Programme “Human Resources Development” 2007 – 2013 framework.
Budget: BGN 5 000 000
Beneficiary: MEYS
The operations aims at:
- Encouraging the science – business dialogue;
- Creating conditions to improve the qualification of young scientists working with high technologies, as an important step towards building a knowledge-based economy.
The operation is targeted to:
- trainees – students and PhD students;
- researchers in universities and scientific organizations

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Science starts the operation BG051PO001/4.3-01 “Adult Literacy”, within the Operational Programme “Human Resources Development” 2007 – 2013 framework.
Budget: BGN 15 000 000
Beneficiary: MEYS, through the “General Education Policy” Directorate
The operations aims at facilitating the access of adults to vocational training and increasing their chances for advancement on the labour market. It is envisaged to support activities targeted at setting up specialized programmes and courses for literacy in order to create opportunities for adults to continue with their primary education.
The operation is targeted to: adults - (people older than 16), who have not completed a stage or classes from their primary education.

(1) MEYS starts a call for proposals for the financial grant "Integration of children and students from ethnic minorities within the educational system”

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Science starts the operation "Integration of children and students from ethnic minorities within the educational system”, which will be carried throughout the whole country and will be financed within the Operational Programme “Human Resources Development” 2007 – 2013 framework from the European Social Fund and the national budget.
The general budget of the operation is BGN 6 000 000
These grants can be applied for by municipalities and municipal units, schools, kindergartens, universities and university units, as well as non-government organizations, registered under the Law for non-profit juridical subjects (NGO).
The activities within each project must end by the end of 2011 and the individual financial grant will be up to BGN 390 000.

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Science starts the operation "Support for the education of children and students with special educational needs", which will be carried throughout the whole country and will be financed within the Operational Programme “Human Resources Development” 2007 – 2013 framework from the European Social Fund and the national budget.
The general budget of the operation is BGN 10 000 000
These grants can be applied for by municipalities and municipal units, schools, kindergartens, as well as non-government organizations, registered under the Law for non-profit juridical subjects (NGO).
The activities within each project must end by the end of 2012 and the individual financial grant will be up to BGN 390 000.

Elaboration regarding the requested financial information from the leading organisation and the partners when submiting project proposals for the 4 programmes in OP "HRD".

Point 1.2.1. from the Application form (a table regarding the financial capacity of the leading organisation) states that the required information is for the last closed fiscal year (N) as well as for the two previous fiscal years (N-1 and N-2). The requirement of p. 2.2.1 of the Form (a table regarding the financial capacity of the partner/s) should be understood in the same way.
Therefore, in the Form (p. 1.2.1 and 2.2.1) as well as in the Application Guidelines (p. 3.4.1.) the case in point is the information for the last closed fiscal year and two years back.
