SUMMARY:
- Working-out an integrated system for employment of students by the attained qualification at secondary school in compliance with the labour market requirements;
- Creation and implementation of a functional model of career guidance at school level;
- Elaboration and application of “School –Labour market” models to support the employment and professional fulfilment of students, finishing secondary education;
- Ensuring early career guidance for students at risk of dropping out and students with special education needs;
- Promoting the career guidance centers as effective counseling, methodological and coordinating units related to implementation of the career guidance policy of students in the secondary education system.
ACHIEVED RESULTS
A Programme for Students’ Career Guidance at school leveliselaborated and tested in practice. Approaches on career guidance integration into education process at secondary school are developed and tested. 266 people (123 pedagogical specialists at pilot schools and 143 career consultants at career guidance centers) are trained to implement the Programme for Students’ Career Guidance directly into school practice of secondary education system. 42 “Career” Clubs are established at pilot schools, which were furnished and equipped with the project’s financial support.
Achieved output and result indicators:
- School students involved in career guidance activities under OP - 107 557;
- Supported career guidance centers -28;
- Share of school students, out of those included in career guidance actions under OP, who have received individual career guidance consultation - 20 297,00.
All indicators of the procedure are fulfilled according to preliminary planned ones. The final implementation of the result indicator during the project implementation is as follows: consultations to 20 297 studentsare provided. The indicated number of students, which are consulted, represents more than 20% compared to the approved output indicator - 100 000 students. The total number of consultations carried out with the indicated number of students is 61 171. The implementation of the result indicator covers students from VII to XII grade. The procedure facilitates the students in their preparation to make a transition from one education level to another or to the labour market.
